Carpet cleaning is not vacuuming with more effort. A vacuum lifts loose surface debris; it does not touch the oily film that binds soil to the fibre, the grit that has worked its way to the base of the pile, or the residue left behind by supermarket spot sprays. Residential vs commercial

How long does a carpet clean take?
Most homes are done in a single visit. A couple of rooms is typically a short morning or afternoon; a full house with stairs and landing takes longer. When you book we'll tell you roughly how long we expect to be on site so you can plan your day around it.
How long before I can walk on my carpets?
We extract thoroughly rather than leaving carpets saturated, and we groom the pile and set up airflow before we leave. Drying time varies with fibre, soiling, ventilation and the weather, so we'll give you a realistic expectation on the day; one of our customers put it as being able to walk on them 'without even having to wait ages'.
Will you get every stain out?
We'll tell you the truth at the inspection stage. Most everyday soiling, traffic lane greying and fresh spills come out well. Dye-based marks, bleach damage and stains that have been through repeated heating cycles or previous DIY treatment may be permanent; we would rather set an honest expectation before we start than overpromise.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No, we move what can be moved safely as part of the job. If there are heavy or fragile items, or anything you'd prefer we didn't touch, tell us at the quote stage and we'll plan around it.
